Yo peeps. What's up? I start my job in exactly one week, so, I guess this is my last seven days of freedom. But, on the other hand, yeah, my freedom is really nice, but paychecks are better. So, back into the workforce for me. Wheeeeeeee! Watch me go.
I went and hung out with Elaine yesterday, no real reason. Just because even though I've talked to her, I havn't actually seen her in nearly a month, and I was missing my friend. It's so funny when we just hang out together. We have a very weird rapport. We play off of each other very well, even when we're talking shit. Anyways, we were kicking back chit-chatting in her room when Frankie called to see if we were going to go to a party a married couple in band with them were having, so we said sure (cause, party, yeah! DUH!) and headed out. We had to stop at my house first, where we stayed long enough to change my pants and shoes, brush my teeth and for me to get extreme burns on my tongue while sneaking broccoli out of the pot. Seriously, I burned the hell out of myself. If you look at my tongue you can see my swollen, injured taste buds. And it still hurts like hell. Oh, and for anybody who doesn't know, fresh burns + toothapste = OWWWIEEE! Yeah.
Anyways, so we head to the party, hosted by Herb and Francis. Oh my god! Francis is probably the coolest person I have met through Elaine. At the very least, she's in the top 5, and I've met a whole shitload of Lainey's friends. She is so awesome and funny. All the way home I was all she is so cool and so awesome and blah blah blah girl-crush cakes (FYI, by "girl-crush" I mean the same kinda girl-crush I have on Gwen Steffani, not like a bow-chicka-bow-bow type of crush). I probably drove Elaine nuts, but really, Francis rocks the fucking socks. I won't say anything else now because it will be bordering on stalkerish. We get there and find out that Frankie got kicked out of his house (which I had to spend a portion of the ride home convincing Elaine was not all her fault. Poor thing. She felt so shitty.) because his mother apparently had some kind of a bi-polar moment, at least as far as I can tell. But, supposedly he's got it under control. We ended up all hanging out for quite a while. It was a really small party, because (as Francis kept reminding us) half the people who had said they were going to come, didn't. But the handful of people that were there were cool, so, we didn't need them anyways. A little while before we got ready to go we got on the subject of me becoming emotionally attached to people, and somehow that manifested itself into if we would make out with random people or not, and Frankie asked me if he could kiss me without my becoming emotionally attached (you know, since I'd already told him we couldn't sleep together because I would get attached and then things would get ugly, lol), which was kinda funny to me because he phrased it just like that. But, long story short, he ended up kissing me. I think it was some kind of a rebound experiment, you can never tell with boys. Am I a party slut now? Eh. We hung out a little longer after that, til about 1:45, when it was decided that we should bail since Francis had to work in the morning and Lainey had to get up for school. She was pretty quiet all the way home and for a little while I thought she might be mad at me about something, but she said she wasn't feeling good, plus she was sleepy. Of course I was hyper as hell all the way home and ended up staying up til 7:30 in the morning. We'll just chaulk it up to celebrating my last week of unemployed freedom.
Yeah. Interesting Sunday. But, it's better than nothing since I didn't really leave my house the entire rest of the weekend. Alrighty, well it's time for Kai to go catch up on her soaps on Soapnet, so, yeah, later days!
P.S. No, really Gidget, are you feeling my timbs, my baggy jeans and my thug appeal? ;-)
