Being Irish

Congratulations to Stacy!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kelly Catherine with her 9lb 4oz self!!

Yesterday for lunch, I had Terriyaki chicken with GREEN rice. Yes, because St. Patricks Day is such a major holiday in China.

Went out with Tricia last night for St Pattys day. I wasn't really feeling like going out. I was tired. I had worked my 9 hours for the day on 5 hours of sleep. Ass. But, I had told Tricia I would go out with her like, Sunday or some shit, so, when I started trying to back peddle, she kinda wasn't hearing it. She was all "But, it's St. Patricks Day! We have to go out!!" to which I responded, "Why? We're not Irish. We're not even white". But, I digress. We hit Bobby McGee's, which was pretty much packed to capacity, but we managed to snag this table, like, right next to the bar, which basically ment we were copping feels of stranger ass all night. I didn't drive though, so I got to have my fun, Tricia not so much though.

Ran into a guy named Josh the we went to high school with. We actually ran into him last week, too. So he and his anti-social cousin came and hung out with us, and then we all went out to Denny's afterward. I was slightly dissapointed cause my favorite pocket sized waiter wasn't there, but, life goes on. But we were all just talking, and, it needs to be said before I go on, Josh has kind of a ... sordid past with a friend of mine. Well, not really sordid... you know what, we'll just call it what it was, they were fuck buddies. But, she came up in conversation and he made a comment about her that I didn't want to hear. So I flat out told him, "Hey, I don't want to have this conversation with you". And he got all defensive, like I was just being uptight. And I tell him, look, she's my friend, I don't want you talking shit about her. At which point he explained that he wasn't talking shit, just making the one comment. And I told him I don't want to talk to him abouit her if he's going to say something that, if I were to repeat it to her, would hurt her feelings. And he wasn't the only one acting like I was just uptight. What's wrong with people? Personally, I would respect that kind of loyalty, if in a similar situation, I said something about someone I didn't like and the person I was talking to was all "pump your brakes, that's my friend" I would be like, "OK, cool, sorry about that". You don't put people in the position, especially when they specifically ask not to be. But, other than that little bump in the road, all was well.

OK, I gotta jet, I gotta go get started on my "Kai Rogers Starter Kit" for a friend of mine that moving to Florida next week. I like to call her Felicity. It's not her real name, but I'm calling her that anyway. Later days!
